The Salty Dog Cafe & Bar began life as the Moturoa TAB and taking over the space of the Video Ezy alongside.
Until 1997 Moturoa had been dry, it was then that proprietor Ann Wilson negotiated for 2 years and finally realised her dream of creating a one stop entertainment destination.
The Salty Dog has a welcoming community atmosphere, where everyone over the age of 18 years is welcome to socialise, drink, gamble and be entertained.
